Prizes

We are currently trying to get some money together to have a few prizes at the end of year show.

We want to give prizes for the best student in print, in advertising, in video and in their final project.

We are also hoping we will be able to have some additional surprises here and there.

We have still not had many suggestions for additional award categories. You can still follow the link given previously to make your suggestion.

Awards

Best piece of video work:
Award for the person or group who produced the best single piece of video production work

Best piece of print work:
Award for the person or group who produced the best single piece of print production work

Best piece of advertising work:
Award for the person or group who produced the best single piece of advertising production work
Best overall student – Advertising
Award for the person who performed the best overall in Advertising

Best overall student - Print
Award for the person who performed the best overall in Print

Best overall student – Video
Award for the person who performed the best overall in Video

Best overall student - Theory
Award for the person who performed the best overall in theory

Best Student:
This is to recognise the student we feel has performed the best over all the subject areas

Student we will miss the most
This is to recognise the student whose departure we feel will leave our classrooms worse off

Student who has made the most progress
This is to recognise the student who we feel has made the most amount of progress on the course from the day they arrived at college to the day they leave the course.

BTEC First Diploma Show 2012

On the 13th of June, the BTEC First Diploma Students at York College will have their show and awards ceremony.

The show will contain pieces of video, print and advertising work and the award ceremony will hand out certificates of achievement to all students who have completed the course alongside some additional special awards.
